Part of the mission of Carolina Performing Arts is to integrate the arts into the life of the University. As a student, you may have seen the results of this mission in your classes – perhaps a professor required that you attend a performance, or an artist may have visited your classroom to discuss their work. We also believe that the arts can play a formative role in your entire collegiate experience, even outside of the classroom. If you were ever inspired by an artist, moved by music, or wanted to build a career in the arts or non-profit world, CPA has several opportunities for students that may be of interest to you:
Our goal is to ensure that every Carolina student has the opportunity to experience world-class artists. With the support of student fees and private donors to the Student Ticket Angel fund, we are able to offer $10 UNC student tickets and free tickets to Carolina Covenant Scholars to every CPA performance in Memorial Hall.
Visit the Memorial Hall Box Office with your OneCard to redeem your $10 ticket, or buy tickets online. Student tickets purchased over the phone will be held at the Box Office until a OneCard can be presented.
Carolina Performing Arts welcomes students who wish to broaden their educational and professional experience by working and learning with a performing arts presenting organization. Part-time employment with CPA, including federal work-study positions, provides students with valuable experience in all areas of arts management including operations, marketing, development, artist relations, and educational initiatives.
